PITCH SCRIPT (this will be used in your face-to-face presentation)

Hi, my name is Tayha, and I’m an intermediate graphic designer specialising in colourful, funky and flexible design.in my spair time i enjoy drawing .arts and crafts spending time with my family and working with local bisnisses

I’ve often been described as a reasonably cheerful designer, and I think that comes through in my work. I want to bring joy, colour and positivity to the world through design. I enjoy creating work that feels expressive, playful and visually interesting, while still communicating a clear message.

I enjoy working with people of all ages, and I don’t want to limit myself to one specific audience. However, I feel my style connects particularly well with people between the ages of 6 and 40. My work tends to be colourful, expressive and playful, and I enjoy finding ways to make designs feel engaging and memorable.

One of my biggest strengths as a designer is my tenacity. If I find something difficult, I’m willing to keep trying until I figure it out. I don’t like giving up on a design just because I can’t get it right straight away. I also bring my own personal and cultural perspectives to my work, as well as an interest in hands-on and practical design techniques.

Visually, I’m particularly interested in maximalism, collage-based design, and hand-drawn, organic and imperfect styles. I love combining different textures, colours, illustrations, typography and imagery to create designs that feel energetic and unique. I think these styles allow me to show more personality and creativity within my work.

I have developed skills across most Adobe applications, including Photoshop, and I have a growing understanding of typography, text placement, colour theory and composition. I continue to develop these skills through regular practice, school projects and personal projects.

One of the main things I hope to improve through this opportunity is the speed and efficiency of my design process. I want to become more confident using specific tools and improve my ability to quickly identify which tools and techniques are best suited to different tasks.

Overall, I’m excited about the opportunity to learn, meet new people and continue developing as a designer. I’m looking forward to gaining professional experience while bringing my own colourful, creative and positive perspective to the work I do.
